Important Instructions For JEE Advanced Online Registrations


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the online registrations for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017 from April 28. Interested candidates can are required to visit the official website for online registrations.

Registration fee for JEE (Advanced):

Examination centres in India:

Female candidates: Rs 1,200
SC/ST/PWD: Rs 1,200
All other candidates : Rs 2,400
Late fee: Rs 500

Examination centres outside India (Non-SAARC Countries)

All candidates: USD 135
Late fee: USD 80

How to register:

In order to register, candidates are required to follow the steps:

Step 1:

Go to the official website  and login with your JEE Main details

Fill online registration form and note down login ID and password

Step 2:

Upload scanned images

Indian candidates are required to upload the scanned certificates of Class 10 or DOB proof, class 12 (or equivalent) examination, category, PwD,scribe request letter,PIO card/OCI certificate, DS certificate as applicable in JPG/JPEG format

Foreign candidates are required to upload the photograph,signature and scanned certificates of Class 10 or DOB proof, Class 12 (or equivalent) examination, identity proof of the candidate, passport of mother, passport of father, passport of candidate,testimonial as applicable in JPG/JPEG format

Size of documents to upload:

Size of the photograph must be greater than 4 KB and less than 10 KB

Size of the signature must be greater than 1 KB and less than 30 KB

Size of the certificate image must be greater than 100 KB and less than 300 KB.

Pay registration fee :

Payment by SBI debit card/Internet banking: The candidate has to click “Pay registration fee”, then the system will automatically redirect to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page. As per the candidates’ convenience, they may select any of the available options like SBI Debit Card/Internet Banking. After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the “Registration details” with unique registration number

In case of cash payment candidate has to select “SBI Branch” and system will generate the challan. The candidate has to take a printout of the system generated challan and take it to the SBI branch for making cash payment. After payment, candidates are required to visit this webpage again and download the “Registration details” with uniuqe registration number

*Note for SAARC and Non-SAARC exam centres: Payment in US dollars is not allowed through Debit/Credit Cards issued in India
