Manchester: Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice as Manchester City moved up to third spot in the Premier League after claiming a thumping 4-0 win over Stoke City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Fernando put the hosts ahead in the 35th minute before star striker Sergio Aguero doubled the lead for City with a clinical spot-kick.
19-year-old Iheanacho then added the third from close range before scoring the fourth goal to seal an emphatic win.
The match also saw Yaya Toure hobble around in the final stages with a suspected thigh injury.
City will next take on Real Madrid in the first-leg of the Champions League semifinals on Tuesday.
