Dubai: Two-time world champions India have been clubbed with arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy, which will be held in England next year.
The tournament, which was last played in 2013, will feature eight teams playing 15 matches over 18 days across three venues. Incidentally, England had also hosted the ICC Champions Trophy four years back. India, who will go in as defending champions will play South Africa, Sri Lanka alongside Pakistan.
India and Pakistan had last played an ODI during the World Cup last year. The two also clashed at the Asia Cup T20 and the World T20, with India emerging victorious on all three occasions.
Group A will consist of reigning world champions Australia, New Zealand, England and Bangladesh
