IB sounds terror alert in Delhi

New Delhi: The Intelligence Bureau on Tuesday issued a warning about Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish planning to use drones to carry out terror attack in New Delhi, sources said. Sources added that the Delhi Police has asked all DCPs to identify people who rent out drones in Delhi.

The police has also been asked not to allow unmanned aerial aircraft to be flown in the national capital. Earlier the month the intelligence agencies had issued a security alert about a possible terror strike in the national capital. They warned that terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad is planning to carry a ‘fidayeen’ attack in the city, similar to the one carried out at an Army camp in Samba in Jammu and Kashmir.
