IAF Trainee Aircraft Crashes In Telangana

Hyderabad: A trainee aircraft, which took off from Hakimpet Air Force station, crashed in Bahupeta village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana.

According to news agency ANI, the pilot sustained injuries and was shifted to a hospital.

Indian Air Force PRO Anupam Banerjee said that the Kiran aircraft took off from Hakimpet Air Force station on a routine training mission, following which it crashed.

According to the official, the trainee pilot managed to eject safely. A court of inquiry has been constituted to investigate the cause of the accident.
