Hwang Kyo-ahn elected South Korean PM


Seoul: Hwang Kyo-ahn has been elected as the new Prime Minister of South Korea. The Korean National assembly on Thursday elected the ex Law Minister as the new Prime minister of the Country.

Former Prime Minister Li Wang ku resigned in May following corruption charges against him. There were speculation regarding who will occupy his empty space. On Thursday Hwang got 157 votes out of 276 in the South Korean Parliament and was elected the Prime Minister.
