Humayun Steps Down From Rural Polls, Says Travesty In The Name Of Election


Baharampur: Clashes broke out between TMC and Congress supporters in Murshidabad on Monday. Congress representative and District Council of Murshidabad Rezingar Humayun Kabir withdraws his name form Bengal rural polls. He has raised allegations of violence across the state during the Panchayat polls against the ruling party.

As per sources Humayun said that the ruling party’s violence is sweeping across Murshidabad. Vote rigging and explosion were reported during the poll in many places of Murshidabad. Despite all these police has not taken any action against this such allegations has been raised by him.

Along with this, Humayun said that pedalers had started showing muscle power from Sunday night. The common man are terrorized. He alleged that it’s a travesty in the name of election.And due to this reason he has taken the decision to step down from the Panchayat polls.
