Huge Explosive Cache Recovered in Assam


Guwahati: A huge cache of explosives have been recovered by the security forces at Hatkhola of Boko in Assam’s Kamrup district on Friday. The bombs believed to be Improvised explosive devices are reported to be armed.

Bomb squad has been rushed to the spot to defuse the explosives. Police has also intensified their investigation in the matter. The explosives are believed to be assembled to use in subversive activities amidst the recent crackdown on terror outfits carried out by the Indian security forces.

The army has launched an all-out drive against the dreaded militant outfits NDFB (S) and NSCN (K) in the northeastern states of Assam and Nagaland.
