The parents of Debavra Bhakta proudly say that they have never forced him to study. They have claimed to have never pressurized him. Maybe this approach has led Debavra to secure the first position in an International English competition. Just a 8 year old from West Bengal’s Kachrapara has brought pride to India.
Debavra Bhakta a resident of South 24 Pargana’s Kachrapa studies in a local private school. His father Bivas Bhakta is a school teacher by profession and his mother, a housewife.
Debavra says that among all the subjects his favourite subject is mathematics and he wants to be a scientist in future.

Earlier this year, his school organized an International English Olympiad competition where there were many state levels and all India level competition was held. Among all these competitions Debavra secured the first position. During his spare time he plays badminton and computer games as well. His parents said they always welcome his decisions about studies and they would support him in future too.
