New Delhi: Several reports regarding HTC’s plans to unveil a new flagship smartphone this year, have been taking the rounds since a long time now.

That makes sense as the upcoming smartphone is expected to be the successor to last year’s HTC 10. The company would probably want to keep the sequence intact.
Not many details have been officially confirmed by the company yet. However, if rumors are to be believed then the smartphone is expected to pack a 5.5-inch display and is likely to come in five color variants, namely: White, Black, Blue, Red and Silver. The company confirmed that a launch event is to take place on May 16.
