New Delhi: Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, also an Honorary Group Captain of Indian Air Force has joined the 83rd anniversary celebration of Indian Air force in Hindon, Gaziabad.
Looking sharp in his cerulean Air Force uniform, Sachin Tendulkar was seen talking to other officials. IAF put up an airshow at Hindon where fighter jets displayed the prowess of the force.
The celebrations will feature Jaguar fighter planes, C-17 Globemaster, C-130 Hercules, MI-17, and MI-35. Home-made Suryakiran planes are the main attraction of the event. Sukhoi planes will wind up the display.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the Air Force on its anniversary, saying it has served the country with great courage and had always been at the forefront in protecting Indian skies as well as helping in times of disasters.
