Kolkata: The officers from the homicide department of Lalbazar visited Aabesh DasGupta’s mother on Saturday to record her statement over the mysterious death of her son.
Rimjhim DasGupta, Aabesh’s mother’s statement was recorded and the whole procedure was videographed. She told the homicide sleuths that her son did not die an accidental death. She believed that her son was murdered.
Whereas on the other hand, the officers, on the basis of the statements drawn from Aabesh’s friends, said that it might be an accidental death which tragically claimed the 17 year old’s life. But the officers did not give any conclusive statement. The officers also reportedly visited Aabesh’s maternal uncle’s house.
On July 23, a class 12 student was found in a bleeding condition at the parking lot of the Sunny Park Apartment at Balluguage where eminent author Amit Chaudhury lives. The preliminary reports of the post-mortem suggested the police to claim it as an ‘accidental death’. The reports suggested that he died of multi-organ failure, which resulted from a massive cut in his artery due to a broken glass piece.
The probe is still on to nab the culprits and give a conclusion to the mystery.
