High Madrasa Result Declared

Kolkata: The High Madrasa Results have been declared on Friday.

It needs special mention that this year girls are ruling in the first 10 position. 8 out of 10 are girls. The Board informs that this is a first time record. Not only the position, but this year the pass percentage of girls has also increased. The pass percentage of girls in 2015 was 74.66%. This year, i.e. on 2016 it has increased to 75.08%.

The positions from 1-10 acquired by students are as follows:

  1. Sumana Khatun, Basanti Hedayetullah High Madrasa (748)
  2. Male Student from Murshidabad
  3. Shabnam Khatun, Bankura Rasulpur High Madrasa (746)
  4. Musfika Khatun, Murshidabad Amirabad High Madrasa (743)
  5. Male Student
  6. Farhana Tasmin, Bankura Rasulpur High Madrasa
  7. Sujana Mandal, North 24 Parganas Arijullahpur Siddikiya High Madrasa
  8. Toufika Khatun, Malda Daripur Baisi High Madrasa
  9. Sinjini Khatun, Burdwan Orgram Chatuspalli High Madrasa
  10. Nasreen Sultana, North Dinajpur Rahatpur High Madrasa.

A total of 13,673 students had appeared for the examinations out of which 11,486 have passed. Percentage of students that passed are 82.25% Out of 31,753 girl examinees, 23,749 have passed.

President of Madrasa Board said that in comparison to the last year’s result, this year the pass percentage has increased slightly. Last year it was 78% and this year it has increased to 76.06%.
