Hema & Dharmendra Named as Haryana Tourism’s New Brand Ambassadors


Chandigarh: Haryana Tourism is getting a power couple boost, what with Dharmendra and Hema Malini being roped in as their new brand ambassadors, according to the state’s tourism minister, Ram Bilas. The state has been aggressively appointing brand ambassadors for various campaigns.

Recently, Parineeti Chopra, who is from Ambala, was appointed the face of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. Confirming Hema and Dharmendra as the new ambassadors, Ram Bilas said, “In February, when the Surajkund International Crafts Mela begins, a formal announcement will be made in this regard.”

“The stress is on religious and village tourism,” a source said. Also, recently, Dharmendra met the minister, when the two discussed various strategies which will be followed soon after they come on board. The actors will be a part of several presentations and shows for tourism related projects.
