Heavy Storm & Rains To Hit 5 Districts Of West Bengal

Kolkata:  A high possibility of rain and thunderstorm can expect some relief from the heat and humidity as the rain and thunderstorm ready to hit in five districts of West Bengal, according to report by Alipore Met department.

Alipore Met department warned Howrah, Hooghly, East Bardhaman, Nadia and North 24 parganas. The Met department on Tuesday warned of severe thunderstorm coupled with high-speed winds in large parts of West Bengal.

Heavy rain accompanied with hailstorm, high-speed winds with speed reaching up to 40 km per hour are likely to affect districts in Bengal.

A cyclonic circulation over Bihar and Gangetic Bengal and a trough of low pressure stretching from the eastern parts of Bihar passing through Bengal are likely to bring rain to the city.
