Kolkata: The persistent bottomless depression over West Bengal-Odisha coastal border is compressing in the area which will affect West Bengal and Odisha too.
The Alipore met office forecasted cyclone and heavy rain in next two days. The compressing depression has already engulfed Firozpur, Hisar, Aligarh, Banda, Daltanganj, Jamshedpur and many other place.
The weather specialists are saying that depression can devastate the coastal areas. Thunderstorm and heavy rain predicted by the met office which will include South 24 Pargana, East and West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura.
A red alert has been issued for the fishermen for next 48 hours at the north Bay of Bengal, Odisha- West Bengal border area and coastal part of Bangladesh.
Amid the rainy affair, humidity mixed in the air will keep the claustrophobia active.
