Kolkata: The local met office Kolkata on said depression to get intensity from Monday on Bay of Bengal. The gangetic part of Bengal will be effected following the depression.
Rain will lash out in Kolkata, Howrah, North 24 Pargana and East-Midnapore as a result of depression. The met office foretasted heavy rain in West Bengal as depression will form over Bay of Bengal and the sourrounded area of the sea. Alert issued in most of the districts.
According to weather specialist, “In last few days there’s no development in the rain system but now it’s changing its rotation. Depression forming deeply over Bay od Bengal so the chance of rain is increasing. Now heavy downpour may take place throughout West Bengal.
The met office issued alert for four districts. South corridor will invite gusty wind which also bring humidity from Bay of Bengal. So the cloud will be heavy and stay for long. Alert also been issued for coastal areas as the sea can turn violent anytime. So the fishermen are prohibited to go to the sea in these days.
