‘He Became The Mayor Who Showed Hooliganism Earlier To Mamata’

Kolkata: Slamming the decision to make Firhad Hakim, the Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Veteran politician Arunava Ghosh has criticised Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee on Friday.

In his statement, he said that, “Mamata is too much imporatnce to Firhad Hakim. Once he went to his house with his goons as couldn’t secure vote-tickets, now he is a minister, now Mayor in Mamata’s governance.”

Sovan Chatterjee has sent resignation on November 22. Soon after the announcement, Mamata has announced Fihad Hakim as the Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. She also plcaed new bill at Bidhan Sabha. He will take oath o December 3. Ghosh said on this, “No one is close to Mamata. They will be close who will give money to her. Sovan was giving the highest, now Firhad will give that.”

Talking about his terms in TMC, he said that, “I have seen the scene of giving ticket to Tapas Pal in 2001. He has come to Kalighat with his battalion. No one can be close to Mamata or Mamata could be close to anybody. if there is nom give and take involvement. No chance of Didi Didi !”

BJP has already targeted Firhad after he elected as the Mayor. Prioring to the Minority support, Mamata has taken the decision. Arunava Ghosh talked the same on the same note.
