Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Friday demanded the petition of West Bengal State Election Commission in the Public Interest Litigation case on Panchayat Election. Head Justice division bench of Calcutta High Court said to provide it within 16th April. The next hearing will took place on April 20.

The PIL was filed by State Congress chief Adhir Chowdhury to prevent Trinamool from “attacking and terrorising” party workers.

HC To Hear Adhir Chowdhury’s Appeal Against Ruling Party

Adhir suggestion says, deployment of central force is necessary in such turmoil situation. Apparently, nomination filing should take place in district upper level administration office to make it a fair process.

On the other hand state BJP camp knocked the door of Supreme Court couple of days ago. SC gave an assertive reply on their plea for BJP. Back to back hearing for West Bengal Panchayat Election is putting Mamata on rage.
