Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court is likely to give its verdict on TET issue on Wednesday.
A case was filed in the court seeking permission to stop recruiting of untrained teaching staff. The future, of 20 lakhs of examinees is depending on this verdict.
The state had written to the centre on 23rd March 2015 seeking another year’s time for the recruiting process. The centre responded by saying that the recruitment of non-teaching staff must be completed within 31st March 2016. But that time elapsed and to ensure that no more time is allotted for this issue, the case was registered in the Calcutta High Court.
Justice C.S. Karnan will pronounce the verdict on Wednesday.
