Jahan visited West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s Kalighat home on Monday. She was there seeking an appointment to meet the West Bengal CM in person. Jahan had earlier claimed that Shami’s family tried to kill her.

“I wanted to meet the chief minister (Mamata Banerjee) to tell her about my plight. However, she was not at home. Hence, I left a letter with the officials outside her house seeking an appointment,” Jahan told media after she visited the West Bengal CM’s home on Monday.
