New Delhi: After Maggi, KFC falls under the microscope for containing harmful bacteria in it. Five samples from five outlets of US-based Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) have been found to contain harmful pathogens, salmonella and E.Coli bacteria. According to media reports, NGO Balala Hakula Sangham collected and submitted the samples to the Telangana State Food Laboratory (SFL) that said the samples were unsafe.
However, KFC authorities have denied of any such report and have said that it is out of their knowledge of any such development.This has come days after KFC faced allegation of serving its customer “fried rat” in America. Later it was found that KFC had served chicken only. A KFC spokesperson said: “Recently in the US, a customer falsely claimed his KFC chicken was a rat, which received a huge amount of publicity given the unrealistic nature of his story
