Haldiram’s scores more than Domino’s,McDonald’s

NewDelhi: Well, we often head to a packet of ‘Bhujiya’ to satiate our evening hunger. Or sometimes, the packet of ‘Sohan Papri’ brings smile to all our family members. We often prefer a Hadiram’s packet rather than going to a Domino’s or McDonald’s outlet. And this habit of ours’ got reflected in the annual revenue of these leading ‘Food-stops’.

If reports are to be believed, Haldiram’s revenue for 2013-2014 stands at Rs. 3,500 crore – more than the combined revenue of Domino’s -Rs. 1,733 crore and McDonald’s – Rs 1,390 crore.

That’s a huge feat for a company that started as a small shop at Bikaner in 1937 and gradually forayed into Delhi in 1982. Over the years, it had been the best partner to all foodies all over the country.
