Kolkata: In yet another targeted cyber-attack against the education institutes in West Bengal, mysterious hackers claiming to be from Pakistan hacked into the websites of at least ten colleges in Kolkata.
The hackers planted the image of a burning Indian flag and posted slogans like ‘Shiv Sena Murdabad’ and ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ on the home page of the sites.
The websites of Maharaja Manindra Chandra College a well-known North Kolkata College under University of Calcutta, along with Kasiswari college, Rammohon college, George Group of Colleges, Vivenkanda college for women, Anandamohon college has being hacked.
Website of Maharaja Manindra Chandra college: www.mmccollege.co.in now reads Pakistan Zindabaad! along with #Hacked by Ali-H@xor, Sorry Admin you are terminated. The college is celebrating Platinum Jubilee this year.

Kasiswari college website www.kasiswaricollege.ac.in reads HACKED BY VIRUSHACKER, AttacEr from Pakistan. Same is visible at the home page of Anandamohon college,Rammohon college, Vivenkanda college for women all this colleges are under University of Calcutta.
When contacted the Assistant Director of Administration, George College said, “The matter has come to our notice on Friday as the college was closed for the puja vacations and we have contacted the technical team.”
The head if detective department of Bidhannagar Commissionerate, Kankar Prasad Barui said that they have received no such complaints yet.
