The hackers have said that they will release five minutes from the film first followed by twenty-minute-long segments till the ransom is paid.

Disney has reportedly refused to pay the ransom and is currently working with the FBI.
Starring Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth film of the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 franchise and is scheduled to release in theatres on May 25.

The news of Disney being extorted comes in the wake of a worldwide ransomware cyber-attack that has hit British hospitals and other such organisations in at least 99 nations, including India.
