Guv feels ‘learning environment’ should be restored in CU

Kolkata: After the ongoing chaos in the Calcutta University between the TMCP and WBCUTA, the Governor of West Bengal, KeshariNath Tripathi has finally given his stance on the incident. Tripathi said that the primary objective should now be to bring back the composition and the order within the University. The students wing and the teachers’ representatives should sit together in order to talk out the matter. In fact, teachers should teach discpline to student and students should always learn from them. On the version of the CU VC, Suranjan Das, the Governor feels that it is entirely Das’ personal opinion. The parties should bridge the distance between them and sit together to reach a common goal and bring back the leaning environment back in the campus, said the Governor of West Bengal at a programme of Global Chamber of Commerce for Development Activities (GCCDI) in a city club on Saturday.
