Gunfire in Brussels ‘Anti-Terror Raid’


Brussels: Shots have been fired during a reported counter-terrorism raid in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

The shots were fired in the southern suburb of Forest, an official told Reuters news agency, adding that an officer had been lightly injured. A prosecutor told AFP news agency the raid was linked to the Paris attacks.

Belgian police have been trying to track down Islamic State militants involved in the 13 November attacks in Paris, in which 130 people were killed.
