Govt to hold all party meet to end Parliament deadlock

New Delhi: The NDA Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be holding an all-party meet on Monday to clear the Parliament logjam which has crippled the entire monsoon session.

The half of the monsoon session has already been crippled and the government is desperate to clear the dead-lock so that the Parliament can resume its business for the remaining days.

The opposition has stormed both the houses of the Parliament ever since the commencement of the monsoon session on the issues of Lalit Modi and the Vyapam Scam. The opposition with Congress in particular, has demanded the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan.

A meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party will be held on Monday to devise further strategy and will be chaired by party chief Sonia Gandhi.
