Govt spoils Rahul’s food, Rajnath on offensive

New Delhi: Replying to allegations levelled by congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, that the NDA government scrapped the mega food park project in Amethi out of vengeance, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday, said in the parliament, that the complete details were submitted to Rahul Gandhi at his residence.

Rajnath also lashed out at the opposition blaming them of disrupting the house by creating ruckus. On the other hand Rahul Gandhi said that he hoped that Smiriti Irani would get back the project for Amethi.

On the other hand, seeing no possibility of the controversial Land Acquisition Bill and Goods and Service Tax Bill to be cleared in the Budget session of Parliament, the Modi government has referred them to the joint committee and select committee respectively.
