Maldaha: ‘Jol Dhoro Jol Bhoro’, an initiative and project of Englishbazar Sobhanagar High School in Maldaha to stop misuse of water that turns to scarcity. They have built some underground water reservoir as a part of this project. District Magistrate Koushik Bhattyacharya has inaugurated the project on Saturday.
According to the school authority, they didnot take any government help for this project. Parents of the students and the local peoples’ contribution is the ultimate financial support forthe project.There was a problem of drinking water drinking water for many years. To solve problem, a separate water reservoir of drinking water was also inaugurated. The reservoir has been made in the form of globes to teach the world the source of water.
According to the school sources, there is no government funding in this project. It is made with the help of he guardians and locals. School sources further said that this project was not heard before in any school. A few months ago, this project was encouraged by Ashish Kundu, Chairman of the District Primary School Sangsad. Rainwater will be retained in this reservoir. It will be used for various purposes, including the water purification of the school’s flower garden.
The headmaster said, “Through this whole system, we want to make the students aware that the underground water is not wasted. As the water is getting misused in the whole country, we will have to get into the water crisis in the future. ”
On this day, the district magistrate said, “A school in remote areas has developed such a project. That is why thanks to the school authorities and the Chairman of the District PrimarySchool Samsad. Thanks to the residents of the area, who have helped to create such projects. “
