Gautam Kundu remanded to jail custody

Kolkata: Rose Valley chief Gautam Kundu has been remanded to 14 days of jail custody by the CJM court on Tuesday. Kundu has been granted an interim bail of 14 days to perform his father’s last rites on April 8.

Rose Valley workers flocked the court premises and raised slogans demanding the release of `Kundu.

Rosevalley CEO Gautam Kundu has been arrested by Enforcement Directorate in connection with chit fund scam. He has been arrested after an interrogation of nearly six hours. Gautam Kundu was summoned by the ED on March 24. He came to the ED office and said to the journalists on his return that he would again come back on March 27. But Gautam Kundu came back to the ED office on March 25 in the afternoon. After a marathon question and answer session, the Rosevalley chief was arrested by the ED officers.
