Gas Leak In INS Vikramaditya, 2 Dead

Bengaluru: A sailor of the Indian Navy and a civilian employee have died on board aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya after toxic gases leaked from the sewage treatment plant on Friday. The two were repairing the sewage treatment plant on board the Russian built aircraft carrier which is undergoing routine repairs and refit at the Karwar Naval Base in Karnataka.

INS Vikramaditya is India’s largest naval ship and equipped with a variety of integral weapons and sensors.
