Gadkari meets Raje, says that party by her side

Jaipur: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday met Rajasthan Chief minister Vasundhara Raje at Jaipur and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party as well as the central government is strongly in support of her since the accusations against her are baseless.

Gadkari said that Raje had done no wrong and such issues should not be brought into politics. The Rajasthan Chief Minister’s name was dragged in the Lalit Modi controversy after it was revealed that her Son Dushyant Singh had financial transactions with Lalit Modi.

He said, “The allegations against Vasundhara Raje are baseless…. Vasundhara ji legally, logically, ethically is completely correct. There is no fault of hers anywhere.”

Earlier Lalit Modi had declared that his relationship with the Rajasthan Chief Minister goes back to 30 years.
