Fungus Found in Ramdev’s Patanjali Ghee


Dehradun: In what may spell another trouble for the Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, the food safety department collected samples cow milk ‘Desi Ghee’ made under his Patanjali brand name.

According to reports, the sample was collected after the food safety department received reports of presence of fungus in a bottle of Patanjali. The sample has been sent to Rudrapur lab for tests.

Earlier, Six Patanjali products including mustard oil, honey, besan, black pepper powder have failed in tests. A case has been filed in this matter. The food safety dept has also sent Patanjali Atta noodles for tests on Novemeber 27.
