Kathmandu: Fresh aftershocks rocked devastated Nepal on the wee hours of Sunday triggering panic among the people. Two aftershocks measuring 4 and 4.5 on the Richter scale rocked Dhading and Gorkha district of Nepal consecutively on the wee hours of Sunday.
The quake originated at Sindhupal district in the country. The first shock was experienced on 3.29 am on Sunday, while successive tremors jolted the country at 4.25 am and 5.57 am.
Aftershocks also hit Nepal on Saturday triggering massive landslide. The deadly quake which hit Nepal on March 25 has claimed more than 7,000 lives in the country with 10,000 more injured.

On the other hand, Runway damage forced Nepalese authorities to close the main airport on Sunday to large aircraft delivering aid to millions of people following the massive earthquake, but UN officials said the overall logistics situation was improving.
