Free Wifi Launched In Kamarhati

Barrackpore: Kamarhati of North 24 Parganas have been brought under the free wi-fi
zone which was inaugarated by the state Urban Development and the Minister for Municipal Affairs Firhad Hakim.

Kamarhati consists of Dakshineshwar and Adyapith. It also consists of Kamarhati Municaplity, Bhairab Ganguly College, Belghoria police station, Sagardutta medical college and hospital. Every day a lot of people come to visit the city and from now onwards, they will be helped due to free wi-fi.

The wifi zone at the Kamarhati municipal area has been set up after expending three crore rupees. They people will be able to enjoy free wifi without any password.

Firhad Hakim wailed a green flag at a dais set up beside BT road near the Kamarhati municipality corporation to inaugarate the service. Firhad said, “Kamarhati now gets the name as a modern city. The people will get free wifi at the city’s important places. Hence, the Kamarhati city gets connected to the whole world.”
