Four Italians kidnapped in Libya


Rome: Italy’s Foreign Ministry has claimed that four Italians have been kidnapped near an Eni oil and gas company complex in the western Libyan city of Mellitah.In a statement Monday, the ministry said the four were employees of the Bonatti construction company.The ministry noted that it had closed its embassy in Libya on Feb. 15 and urged Italians to leave the country because of the dangers to foreigners. Some of the authorities in the Embassy have claimed that there might be terrorist link ups associated with the kidnapping. However, as of the latest news, none of the terror outfit and organisation has claimed the kidnapping of the four Italians.
