Kolkata: Acting on the order of Calcutta High Court, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has revoked a construction plan sanctioned earlier to Haemosure Life Science Pvt. Ltd. And ordered the demolition of any structure built illegally.
The dispute started after Haemosure Life Science Pvt. Ltd. Brought the land on Ezra Street and asked Mr. Nehta to vacate the property. As per reports, the company was also successful in getting a building plan from the KMC citing forged documents.
Mr. Naha’s counsel Debabrata Upadhay said that the company faked documents and got the building plan sanctioned. The leased shop was not included in the sale deed and hence his client was also threatened to vacate the land.
Mr. Nahata filed a petition in the city session court against the move but was turned down and the company got the plan sanctioned. Mr. Nahata then moved High Court. Justice Sambuddha Chakroborty then rilled in favour of Mr. Nahata and ordered KMC to revoke the building plan sanctioned to Haemosure Life Science Pvt. Ltd. And ordered the demolition of any structure built over the land by the company.
