Five Syrians killed in Israeli Air Strikes


Damascus: Israeli Air Force carried out a drone strike in southern Syria on Friday, killing five civilians, while a soldier was also killed and seven others wounded in an air raid overnight, according to Syrian state TV reports.

Quneitra governor Ahmad Sheikh Abdul-Qader said that the attack happened on the road leading to the village of Khan Arnabeh, near Kom and destroyed the car.

Syria’s state news agency has quoted a Syrian military source which said that an Israeli Army helicopter launched a number of rockets towards the Syrian territory, targeting the transportation directorate and the governorate building in Quneitera.

The attack was conducted on Thursday with the SANA news agency saying that the only caused material damage came after an Israeli military spokesperson said that rockets had hit northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights.
