Five killed in Niger suicide attack


Diffa: Five people were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up in the town of Diffa in Nigeria. The attack occurred in a market area on Sunday after army repelled an attack by Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram.

This was the second attack by Boko haram terrorists in three days on Niger’s southern border region, where 2,500 Chadian troops have planned military offensive against the Islamist group.

Niger’s parliament is due to vote on Monday to send troops into Nigeria to fight the troops.

Locals said that a young boy carrying explosives blew himself up in Diffa’s market.
