First day-night test match to commence on Nov 27


Canberra: World Champions Australia will be holding the first day and night test match which will start from November 27 against New Zealand and will be played used pink Kookaburra ball.

James Sutherland, Chief of Cricket Australia said that the move would allow people to watch the match at ground and on television.

November 27 holds a lot of significance in Australian Cricket since this was the day when Australian batsman Philip Hughes died after being injured in an inter-state Sheffield Shield Match at Sydney Cricket ground.
