Firing Near Afghan Consulate In Karachi, 1 Killed

Karachi: Firing took place near Consulate General of Afghanistan in Clifton area of Karachi in Pakistan; at least 1 killed: Pak Media

At least one person was also injured as unidentified armed men on Monday opened fire near the Afghan Consulate in Karachi’s Clifton area, Express News reported.

According to reports, heavy contingents of Rangers and police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area for further investigations.

Police sources said a senior consulate official was killed in the gunfire, however, they refused to provide any further details.
