Mumbai: Two firefighters lost their lives while trying to bring the devastating fire under control in Mumbai which rocked a muti-storied building in South Mumbai. Four more people were injured in the incident. They have been admitted to a hospital.
The fire broke out on Saturday at around 4 Pm. 16 fire tenders rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. The devastating fire was brought under control after nearly eight hours.
four officials of the fire department were injured on Friday night while trying to bring the fire under control. Among them Additional Fire officer Sanjay Baman and Station officer Mahendra Desai succumbed to their injuries. On the other hand, Chief of the fire brigade Sunil Nesrekar and and deputy fire chief officer Sudhar Amin are reported to be critical.
