Fire guts down Noida garments factory


Noida: A massive fire broke out in the wee hours of Saturday morning at a garment factory of Noida’s sector 63. According to police, the fire broke out around 5 am at the JJ Fabrics factory.

No casualties have been reported so far in the incident. More than a dozen fire tenders rushed to the spot but faced difficulty in dousing the flames due to strong wind. “It took the fire tenders about four hours to control the fire,” the official said.

The factory manufactures undergarments and a lot of raw material and ready stock was stored at the time of fire.
