Fire Breaks Out At Presidency University’s Central Library


Kolkata: Huge panic has spread among students at the Presidency University campus after a fire broke out in the Central Library of the Presidency University on Friday.

Terrified students rushed out from their classes. One student is reportedly injured. 5 fire tenders have rushed to the spot. Huge loss of important documents and books are being presumed.

The fire broke out at 1:36 pm. With the efforts of the fire tenders, the fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. No casualties have been reported. As per the fire tender officials, the fire may have broken out from the ac machines of the library. The fire has been doused, but thick black smoke is still there.
