Fire Breaks Out In Mumbai Hospital


Mumbai: A fire that broke out at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in south Mumbai’s Parel this afternoon has been doused. No casualties have been reported.

The fire had reportedly started around 3 pm at the records room of the hospital. Due to the smoke, patients in the adjoining building have been moved.

Five fire engines had been rushed to the hospital to put out the blaze.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
