Fire Breaks Out At Calcutta National Medical College

Kolkata: A major fire breaks out at the Calcutta National Medical College on Saturday noon. Patients were evacuated and four fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flame. The reason of the fire is still unknown.

The fire broke out at the female ward on the fifth floor of Calcutta National Medical College around 12 PM, which creates panic among the patients and the relatives of the patients.

Earlier on 2o July a massive fire broke out on the 3rd floor of a high rise office near Abhinav Bharati High School at Pretoria Street.

Many people were feared trapped inside. The school students and the nearby residential building occupants have been asked to vacate the places immediately.
