Fire break out at Kolkata-Dhaka Maitri express

Kolkata: Fire has broke out in the Kolkata bound Maitri Express from Dhaka. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the train entered Kakinara station. Fire broke out in the Pantry car of the train resulting in massive anxiety and tension among the passengers on the train as well as in the platform. the fire was doused immediately by the railway staff. The train was halted at Kakinara railway station for nearly 20-25 minutes following the incident. No causalties or injuries have been so far reported in the incident. The train has started off for its journey to Sealdah.
