Kolkata: M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is a 2016 Indian biographical sports film. It is based on the life of former Test, ODI and T20I captain of the Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. After that Sachin, A Billion Dreams hit the screen. Now, the Indian cricket fans raise voice over to make a film based on Bengal’s tiger Sourav Ganguly. But huge money fraud disclosed as the topic revealed and FIR also lodged against this fraud case.
A company named MS production was making a biopic based on comeback king Sourav Ganguly. The biopic named “22 yards”. The owner of that production house was Sourav Ganguly’s assistant Partha Rudra and his wife Mitali Ghosal Rudra. Tanushree Guha Roy, a resident of Kolkata alleged that they have cheated money in the name of making Sourav Ganguly’s biopic.
Tanushree filed a complaint at Bidhannagar east police station on Sunday evening. She also complained that they joined me in their production house as assistant producer. After that they claimed 20 lakhs for making film from me. In 2016, she gave 3 lakhs 70 thousands for making these films. Tanushree also told that later on she stopped giving money due to bad intention of them.
After that, Tanushree was informed by the letter that she have been removed from the co-producer of MS Productions. Tanushree demands to return Rs 3 lakh 70 but they did not give any reply. Bidhannagar police started investigation on such fraud.
