Feud Continues, Pro-OPS Leadership Ousts EPS From Salem Party Post


Chennai: Senior AIADMK leader E Madhusudhanan on Friday sacked Genereal Secretary VK Sasikala Natarajan from the party on the charges of bringing disrepute to the party.

He also sacked Sasikala’s nephews TTV Dinakaran who is also the Deputy General Secretary and Venkatesh for the same charges along with 13 district secretaries.

Notably, Sasikala had sacked E Madhusudhanan from the post of Presidium Chairman post on February 10.

Sasikala, who was convicted by the Supreme Court on February 15 in disproportionate assets case, was sentenced four years of imprisonment.

She surrendered in a Bengaluru jail on February 16, however, she inducted her nephews TTV Dinakaran and S Venkatesh on Wednesday and made Dinakaran  the Deputy General Secretary of AIADMK.

She also declared E Palaniswami as her replacement for the post of the legislative head of the party, who took oath as Tamil Nadu’s 13th Chief Minister on February 16 along with 30 other ministers.
